What assistive services are available at the Library?

Answer

  • Book Retrieval Service:
    • Library staff can retrieve books, DVDs, and other library materials for you to pickup at the Circulation Desk.
      • Using MavScholar, sign in with your StarID, then request books and other library matierals by using the Hold option. Allow up to 24 hours for retrieval. Notice will be emailed when items are available for pickup.
      • Book retrieval service can also be requested in person at the Circulation Desk or by phone 507-389-5931 or email msucirc@mnsu.edu.
  • Library staff can also assist with navigating the building. Advance appointment is recommended so that staff is available when needed, but not required.
  • The library also has JAWS and Kurzeil software available.
