Yes. First Sign in within MavScholar and search for an item. When you click on each title, you will have the option under the Get It section to click Hold or Hold Request. Requested books and other materials are retrieved Monday-Friday. Most items are ready for pickup in under 24 hours, but requests placed after 11:00am on Fridays are not pulled until Monday. When requested items are ready for pickup, you will receive an email for hold pick up.

After you receive your email notification and during library hours, go to the Circulation Desk (near the entrance) with your MavCard to pick up your items.

Not coming to Mankato? You are encouraged to sign up for Document Delivery to request items and have them mailed to you.

For the fastest service, self-service retrieval and browsing are available during all hours Library is open.
