Can I borrow my textbook from the Library?
Learn how to rent* textbooks and other course materials at the library. *Library staff prefer to say borrow instead of rent because this service is free as long as you return items on time.

Visit our Textbooks & Course Reserves list to see if the Library has set aside materials for your class.
Online
The library has some online textbooks and ebooks for class readings. Search MavScholar to see if ebook titles, including textbooks, are available from the Library.
Print textbook reserves checkout from 2 hours to 7 days.
MavTexts (call number MT-number) will check out for 24 hours as long as there are other copies on the shelf. If there is only one copy, checkout will be for 4 hours.
You MUST show your MavCard to borrow the textbook.
